Non-Profit AssociationA peacebuilding dream born in Barcelona, inspired by John Lennon's vision of a world living as one.
Imagine All The People is a non-profit association founded in Barcelona, born from a peacebuilding project created in 2017 alongside the iWith Foundation led by Ramon Bartomeus. Inspired by the iconic John Lennon song "Imagine", the mission was to put his dream into practice — creating a new world in peace where everything is shared. A planet without possessions, countries, and religions. It was a radical proposal, but we tried it anyway.

Brainstorm sessions organized at iWith Foundation with Ramon Bartomeus and the team, 2017.
Unfortunately, founder Jil van Eyle had to pause the development due to a lack of funding. But he kept believing 100% that this initiative could one day achieve a planet in peace — with all of us doing small Micro Peace Actions based on sharing possessions, cultures, languages, and beliefs.
Here is a short video of the very first "Imagine All The People" website we launched, showing the original vision that started it all.
Jil based his idea on the fact that he had already created Teaming.net, a micro-fundraising platform that proved "bottom up" we have enormous power and can truly change the world. The same principle — that small contributions from many people create massive impact — became the foundation for Imagine All The People.

Jil van Eyle and Ramon Bartomeus sealing the agreement for the project at iWith Foundation, 2017.
After many years of sharing the "Imagine All The People" message at international conferences, and thanks to the support of Search for Common Ground, the platform was reactivated in 2026.

This time, Jil realized the message to users should be less radical and more realistic. Listening to a new team of professionals, we created the platform MicroPeace — where the dream of putting John Lennon's "Imagine" into practice doesn't change. We simply developed a better platform, easier to understand and easier for anyone interested in everyday peacebuilding to participate in.
MicroPeace is currently the main project of the association Imagine All The People. We are always open to receiving proposals and ideas that contribute to new innovative "bottom up" peacebuilding projects in line with the vision of John Lennon.

Our founding technology partner, iWith.org Foundation believes in using technology for social good.
